Leavenworth abounds with trails and terrain for Nordic skiers of all types. Cross-country skiing is a very pleasant way to travel and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Skate skiing is a much more active version if you dare. We have listed a few popular areas but there are many more. Come and explore miles of new terrain.
Leavenworth Winter Sports Club
In addition to the Ski Hill and all that it offers the LWSC has the Icicle River Course, the Golf Course track and the Waterfront Course for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. The main office is a great resource for you to learn the current conditions of each course.

A natural and historic setting for cross-country skiing, skate skiing or snowshoeing, our scenic trail system takes you along the base of Jim Hill Mountain and into the heart of Mill Valley.

Plain Valley Nordic Ski Trails-Cross Country
Beginning in downtown Plain you can take a nordic trip through the beautiful valley on their private groomed trails! Kids 17 and under ski for free!
