At the end of October, days in Leavenworth are getting colder. The signs are subtle at first; the leaves begin to fall and there’s a light frost on your windshield in the morning. Closer to town and convenient to all the festive winter charm Leavenworth has to offer is Barenhutte. A nicely updated, true log cabin with a hot tub, surrounded by trees but only minutes from downtown? What more can you ask for? Filled with nods to Leavenworth’s past, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported back in time as soon as you step through the door.

River’s Run is the perfect home for a quiet getaway whether it’s a girl’s weekend, a couple’s vacation or small family trip. In the winter, it’s the perfect basecamp for cross-country skiing, snowmobiling or going on a sleigh ride in nearby Plain and when you get back from all the fun, the hot tub will be waiting for you!
