Waterfront Park

Only a few blocks from Front Street, Waterfront Park is easily accessible from any of the downtown parking and makes for a great spot to explore after browsing the many shops.

Lake Wenatchee State Park

Regarded as one of the best places to see fall foliage in the entire state of Washington, Lake Wenatchee offers nearly 500 acres of beautiful forest, beaches, and waterfront views. During the peak, trees surrounding the lake reflect their colors on the smooth, glassy surface of the lake. Tumwater Canyon

Located just west of Leavenworth, Highway 2 travels through Tumwater Canyon as it weaves through the Cascade Mountains. The canyon begins where Highway 2 passes over the Wenatchee River and continues for about 9 miles until the narrow canyon opens up to the town of Leavenworth. This beautiful section of the road serves as a grand entrance for many travelers coming from Seattle and other cities to the East. Especially beautiful during the fall, the best way to see the canyon is to drive slowly and make use of the many pull-offs that offer great views of the river below.
